AIFD Bridal Show in San Bernadino

Big ups to the Boss Laday for allowing us to go for some "Research and Development" :) Thanks again. We had an awesome sunday trip to Cali, Michelle, Sherry and I drove 4 hours from Vegas to see this bridal show and it was soo awesome.

The theme was Sex and the city, and each person did a mock wedding for Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, & Charolette. Here is the flyer with all of the featured designers.




After the show they were having an auction for the bouquets and arrangements featured in the show. Yukiko was the highest bidder on this one. Lovvee all the cymbidiums.


Just beautiful, composite cymbidium bouquet and matching head band.



IRIS is stunning when they're grouped together, especially in these Mercury vases.

For lunch they had a ballroom decorated from floor to ceiling, hundreds of different sized Chinese lanterns hung from the ceiling, and giant buffet pieces, with gorgeous centerpieces, and on top of all that the food was great :)

Peonies

I <3 Peonies, Our clients came in for the Diamond Show at the Mandalay Bay and they wanted pink and white peonies. So we were lucky to have a cooler fffuuuullll of peonies, they even smell as good as they look.

Today in the Garden

Today was pretty cool because we got a call from a guy placing a flower order for Maria Ho. *Maria is an awesome poker player & shes currently in the 5k event at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). I make both arrangements and Michelle and I drive up to the house, OR should I say modern mansion. Huge beautiful house with a Maserati in front. We get in and the house is sick, its like being in an expensive restaurant at the Cosmopolitan, super cool chandeliers, gorgeous floors, (and me seeing all this while trying to be discreet about even looking around lol) it was just so modern, fabulous, and my style. :) kudos for having a sick designer Maria. Anyways I really need to up my poker game so I can have a sick mansion and a Maserati in my drive way. Here are their arrangements.







We were also working on our upcoming event. Our client SWAROVSKI, gave us a bunch of feathers and pictures of their arrangements they've had in the past using these feathers. The pictures were of tall black tulip vases with black magic roses and just bunches of the feathers.

So after my first Hat making session these are the 2 designs I came up with.
